• In 2015, the median total income of households in Canada was $70,336.

• In 2015, 155 persons or 20.9% of the persons in Val-des-Lacs lived in low income².

• In 2015, 52.0% of households in Val-des-Lacs contributed to Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs), Registered Pension Plans (RPPs), or Tax-free Savings Accounts (TFSAs). In Quebec, 63.7% of households contributed to an account while 65.2% of households contributed nationally.

• In 39.5% of couples in Val-des-Lacs, each partner had fairly equal incomes³ in 2015 while men had higher income in 44.7% of couples and women had higher income in the remaining 18.4% of couples.
