Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Val-des-Monts (Municipalité) was 11,582, which represents a change of 11.2% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 3.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Val-des-Monts (Municipalité) is 441.84 square kilometres and the population density was 26.2 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 4,564 private dwellings occupied in Val-des-Monts (Municipalité), which represent a change of 11.8% from 2011.
