Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Rouyn-Noranda (Ville) was 42,334, which represents a change of 3.2% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 3.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Rouyn-Noranda (Ville) is 6,009.86 square kilometres and the population density was 7.0 people per square kilometre.
