Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of South Huron (Municipality) was 10,096, which represents a change of 1.5% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of South Huron (Municipality) is 425.41 square kilometres and the population density was 23.7 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 4,249 private dwellings occupied in South Huron (Municipality), which represent a change of 1.8% from 2011.
