• In 2016, the enumerated population of Sylvan Lake (Town) was 14,816, which represents a change of 19.9% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Sylvan Lake (Town) is 23.36 square kilometres and the population density was 634.2 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 5,616 private dwellings occupied in Sylvan Lake (Town), which represent a change of 21.6% from 2011.
