In 2016, the population aged 25 to 64 in private households of New Songhees 1A was 970.
In 2016, 69.6% of people aged 25 to 64 in New Songhees 1A had a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, compared with 86.3% in Canada.
In New Songhees 1A, 6.7% of people aged 25 to 64 had a bachelor’s degree or higher in 2016, while 20.1% had a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma as their highest level of education, and 14.4% had an apprenticeship or trades certificate or diploma as their highest.
