Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Vulcan County (Municipal district) was 3,984, which represents a change of 2.8% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Vulcan County (Municipal district) is 5,433.43 square kilometres and the population density was 0.7 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 1,180 private dwellings occupied in Vulcan County (Municipal district), which represent a change of 6.9% from 2011.
