In 2011, Woodstock (Town / Ville) had a population of 5,254, representing a percentage change of 2.8% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 13.41 square kilometres with a population density of 391.7 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 71,377.18 square kilometres with a population density of 10.5 persons per square kilometre.
