In 2011, Coldstream (District municipality) had a population of 10,314, representing a percentage change of 8.9% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 66.28 square kilometres with a population density of 155.6 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 922,509.29 square kilometres with a population density of 4.8 persons per square kilometre.

Coldstream (District municipality) is part of the census agglomeration of Vernon.

Coldstream, DM – Non-official languages
