Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Québec (Ville) was 531,902, which represents a change of 3.0% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 3.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Québec (Ville) is 453.38 square kilometres and the population density was 1,173.2 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 252,043 private dwellings occupied in Québec (Ville), which represent a change of 2.7% from 2011.
