The Families, Households and Marital Status Highlight Tables provide families, households and marital status data from the Census of Population, for various geographic levels and census years.

These tables provide counts, percentage distributions and percentage change for the population aged 15 years and over living in private households by marital status and opposite- and same-sex status, age, sex and presence of children from the 2016, 2011, 2006 and 2001 censuses, as well as percentage change from 2006 to 2016, for select geographic areas.
