• In 2016, the enumerated population of New Glasgow census agglomeration (CA) was 34,487, which represents a change of -3.7% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 0.2% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of New Glasgow is 2,067.03 square kilometres and the population density was 16.7 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 15,132 private dwellings occupied in New Glasgow, which represent a change of -0.8% from 2011.
