This table presents the 2016 and 2011 population counts and the 2016 dwelling counts, land area, population density and population ranking for all census divisions by the selected province or territory. It also shows the percentage change in the population counts between 2011 and 2016. Same-page links within the first column 'Geographic name' will move focus to the map beneath the table. Two exceptions are 'census division / division de recensement' (CDR) and 'territory / territoire' (TER), which are geographic units created as equivalents by Statistics Canada, in cooperation with the provinces and territories, for the purpose of disseminating statistical data.
